The location is amazing (near South beach, near the coastal path), and so are the rooms and the breakfast. Charlie and Paul are fantastic hosts. They are very open and welcoming, and helped us during a health crisis. We are grateful, and truly enjoyed our stay. Much recommended!

We had a lovely weekend break over the Bank Holiday, and would definitely stay again.The hosts Charlie and Paul were very friendly and helpful, and also Elaine who served Breakfast.Our room overlooked the front, and was very spacious, as was the bathroom, which had a separate bath and shower, both rooms were immaculately clean and well decorated .We would definitely recommend a stay at Ty Ffynnon.

Thank you for your review. We don't, and never have, offer homemade cake? And being completely honest, my cakes can be a bit hit and miss, so if you did try some, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be wanting more :)

From my perspective the standard of the welcome, service and presentation is exceptional, the quality of the rooms is exceptional, the quality of the breakfast is exceptional. I cannot find fault with anything. A wonderful place to stay. I will most certainly be staying here again.

We loved our three night stay here, Charlie, Paul and the lovely lady who served breakfast were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, they gave us recommendations for food and days out. The house is beautiful. The room (3) was absolutely spotless, fresh and comfortable. The shower was nice and there was always hot water. The breakfast room was very clean and the attention to detail with what was on offer was lovely. We had the cooked breakfast each day, which was high quality and delicious, the coffee was very good too. There was also fruit, yogurt and cereal to have along side but we didn’t try those. You can tell this is a labour of love for them. In terms of location it’s about 5 minutes drive to beautiful Tenby where there are lovely places to eat and pubs, but restaurants close very early. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re looking to go to all the different coves, beaches and castles. We pack in a lot in three days but wished we had stayed 5 days really as there was still things we didn’t get time to do.

We loved our stay at Ty Ffynnon - our Room (#2) was beautiful, spotlessly clean with the biggest ensuite bathroom I’ve seen. Breakfast was fabulous and it’s a great spot to base yourself to explore Pembrokeshire. What really made it special though was the hosts Charlie and Paul - they were so welcoming and had fantastic advice for exploring locally and eating out. We wish we could have stayed longer!

What a lovely welcome we had. Paul came out to great us took our suitcase and went over the way everything worked. Lovely room . Everything is so clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is so good.We really liked the breakfast set up. So touching having our names hand written on slate to identify our table. Which is then used for your hot beverage pots. We stayed at Ty Ffynnon for 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The communication from Charlie prior to our stay was excellent. The property as a whole and the room itself was of such a high standard and was absolutely beautiful. The property is in a gorgeous area, nice and quiet and plenty of stunning walks nearby! The breakfast every day was exceptionally good, the produce was fresh and a really high standard. Charlie and Paul are the best hosts you could ask for, so knowledgeable about the area, full of excellent recommendations for anything you can think of! They are so friendly, flexible and we really felt comfortable and at home here. The whole stay was just welcoming and warm. I’d stay here over and over and highly recommend to everyone!

This was our third visit to Ty Ffynnon B&B and we returned to a warm welcome by Charlie and her small team. The moment we drove through the gates we could relax knowing we had a fantastic place to call ‘home’ for a few days. The whole place is as always spotlessly maintained and the furnishings and decor add so much to a visitors experience. You can tell that everydetail is well thought out to make sure their guests have all that they need to enjoy their stay, including the amazing breakfasts. The day starts with a choice of breakfasts and these are so delicious and for anyone with dietary requirements, nothing is too much trouble. Also, the B&B is situated in a quiet village, a stones throw from Tenby and the beach is an easy walk away.

This was our second stay at Ty Ffynnon. My family and I stayed for five nights, and if we could move in permanently, we would! First off, Charlie and Paul are delightful! They are the most gracious and helpful hosts you can imagine. Truly lovely people who go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible. And as if that wasn't enough, the rooms are 5 star! Everything is very stylish and super clean! Wonderful beds, with soft linens and pillows. Beautiful, well appointed bathrooms. And both of our front rooms had gorgeous views. Last but not least, Charlie makes DELICIOUS breakfasts! Which are made even more special by Elaine, who serves them, and always brightens the start of your day! Fully recommend Ty Ffynnon B&B! Very welcoming and happy to accommodate requests. Very modern and clean bedroom/building. Good private, secure parking. Quiet setting just outside of Tenby with a good local pub (5min walk) for drinks/meal. Good choice of breakfast times so you don't have to get up too early! A warm welcome, very clean and modern room with a fantastic view and the hosts Charlie and Paul make you feel at home from the first second. Breakfast is amazing and served by the wonderful Elaine. If you come by car, you can park it safely behind a secure gate. We did a walk along the beach to Tenby. Nice town and worth a visit but the Ty Ffynnon in Penally is absolutely the better choice to stay when you are in this region. We loved it!

Greetings Peeps, Just a very quick review, by such I mean what can we add as guests of this fabled establishment, that which as not already been added, we both stayed for a four night stay most recently, and for us both it ticked all of the usual boxes, so much so we are now to use 'Ty-Ffnnon as a yardstick by which to measure other establishments, believe us it was a fantastic stay for a holiday break where we radiated to various Pembroke attractions, our hosts could not have been more charming/welcoming, a big shout out to Charlie & Paul and not forgetting Elaine who was most kind to us both at breakfast with helpful tips and hints to make our stay enjoyable, and, before I sign off, a big shout out to 'TC Freddie, who I have to report must have known of our arrival whilst on Sentinel Duties, who when he saw us both into the secure parking area, tootled off, no doubts to meet other guests arriving later!

We stayed at Ty Ffynnon for my Ironman Wales, and to visit places in South Wales with my wife.Charlie and Paul were very helpful, making my days prior to the race were much less anxious. The room is spacious, and the surrounding is calm and relaxing. It is close to the South beach and not far at all from the centre of Tenby town. The breakfast is great.Five stars is not enough 😊

Fantastic service from the moment you book, clear communication on times to arrive and where to park etc… checking in you are greeted by Paul or Charlie and just wow! Made to feel comfortable straight away. The B&B is beautiful and homely. The garden is great to sit outside and the views are outstanding. Room was lovely, the view from the room was great. We visited Tenby for work purposes and our stay here made it so much more enjoyable. Paul and Charlie went above and beyond to help us, from the early take away breakfast (which was to die for) to offering lifts if we needed it. We checked in late and after a 5hr drive it was lovely to be met in the car park and welcomed in to the house, it was like coming home.The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. They views were lovely, beds super comfy, and a lovely quiet area.There is not one thing about this property and family that you could dislike, I was sad to leave and will definitely return.Thank you Charlie and Paul, you are both amazing 🥰

What can we say,this is by far the best b &b we have stayed in, nothing was to much trouble for Charlie and Paul, they are excellent hosts, we only stayed for 2 nights but wish it could of been longer, the location of the guest house is in a perfect little village only a ten / fifteen minute walk to Penally beach with Tenby and Caldy Island in the distance, vthe walk along the beach to tenby took us about 45 minutes, we can't wait to book again and stay for longer next time.

We looked online at many B&Bs before selecting Ty Ffynnon and so pleased we did. We were in Room 4 as we prefer a King Size Bed which was immaculate and amazing bedding coupled with a superb mattress. Once we’d parked in the secure gated area to the rear, we were greeted by Charlie & Paul, who could not have made us feel more welcome. This is their 5th year in the business and have certainly found their perfect ‘semi-retirement’ profession and could not be more content. Breakfast is selected the day before by texting Charlie and pick a time up to 09:30 to dine in a beautiful breakfast room overlooking the rolling hills toward the sea. The highlight of our stay was to stroll over the dunes straight opposite and down to the beach (10 mins) and then walk all the way down to Tenby. Highly recommended in every way.

We stayed there for two days and it’s such a great experience. The hosts Charlie and Paul were very welcoming and friendly. The entire property is very well taken care of. Not only was our room spacious and spotless, all the public areas were nice and clean and you could tell from the decor and paintings that the hosts have good taste. Their cat Freddie was adorable and friendly too!

Ty Ffynnon is a first class B&B with excellent hosts Charley & Paul.The location is superb for exploring Pembrokeshire and just a 10 minute walk to Tenby South Beach.It is easy to walk directly into Tenby it is no more than a mile along the beach.High quality breakfasts were provided and kept us going until dinner.Our room the best Superking was fantastic, comfortable bed and superb bathroom.Nothing was too much trouble and our wonderful stay in Pembrokeshire was in turn all the better and indeed enhanced for being guests at Ty Ffynnon.

We can honestly say that this is a truly wonderful place to stay. Flooded with light but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Our room was absolutely gorgeous with lovely views across the fields towards the sea. Charlie & Paul are so friendly and so was Elaine. We only wish our stay had been longer than 2 nights. We are definitely going to return with our Daughter and her partner as since we came home I am already planning our next stay. The walk from Penally into Tenby is very scenic along the beach, it was nice to leave the car behind.

I was travelling with my sister and we found this wonderful B & B.The hosts (Charlie and Paul) could not have been nicer and were always willing to help in any way they could.The lady who served breakfast was lovely too!The beds were very comfortable with wonderfully soft pillows and we had a glorious view from our room.It was just wonderful and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

This is the second stay for me at Ty Fynnon and I'm pleased to say that is as good as ever.Paul and Charlie clearly work hard to maintain the high standard that they have set, the property was, as before in first class order with the décor crisp and clean.Room 5 was my accommodation for the 3 nights I was there and it was spotless and comfortable, 3 good night's sleep were had.I was down in Tenby for a sporting event over the course of the weekend, as a solo traveller this presented some logistical issues, however Paul was more that happy to help out in this regard, for which I'm grateful.I can recommend this accommodation to anyone considering a stay inthe area, all being well I'll be back next year.

What an absolute gem of a place. We enjoyed every second of our 2 night stay and can't wait to return. A great base for a few days in Pembrokeshire. Charlie and Paul are lovely hosts - very welcoming and ready with recommendations of places to visit and eat. It is no surprise that Ty Ffynnon receives a 100% 5 star rating. It is a lovely house on the edge of Penally village and is spotlessly clean throughout. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The hosts Charlie and Paul clearly love what they do and this shows in their welcome and help with our stay. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Quite honestly the best place we have stayed and cannot be recommended highly enough.

It is a return visit for me as the quality of accommodation, breakfast and service is very high here. Paul and Charlie greeted us with a warmth that immediately relaxed us and made us feel very welcome. The house is exceptionally clean and decorated to a very high standard. We had room number 1 which was very spacious and had a very large, comfortable bed, and the view from the window looks out towards the coast and surrounding fields. The bathroom was of a large size and spotlessly clean. The breakfast are delicious and nothing is too much trouble.Elaine who helps out with serving the breakfasts is attentive and is always happy to help with plans for your day. We would not hesitate to return to this special place in the future.

This is one of the best b and b we have ever stayed in. Well located for enjoying the Pembrokeshire area...but it offered so much more than that. Everything about this beautiful b and b was designed to give you the best possible guest experience. Charlie and her husband, Paul are just the most lovely hosts who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.The accommodation both inside and out is absolutely stunning. Uncluttered, insanely clean and yet homely and comfortable. Truly superbly designed and immacculate interior with attention given to every little last detail.Our room (Room 1) was beautifully styled. We loved the decor and, of course, the huge ensuite! The bed was super comfortable and gave us an excellent night's sleep. The room was freshened up daily by a superb cleaning team!Breakfast was a wonderful experience too, with the dining room organised to cater so easily for every guest. The full English was cooked to perfection every single morning and was delicious! Our breakfast waitress, Elaine, was an absolute delight and so helpful...and very much a part of the genuine friendly, relaxed atmosphere created by Charlie and Paul at Ty Ffynnon.We loved our 3 nights stay and were highly impressed with everything about the accommodation. I stayed at Ty Ffynnon during the Ironman triathlon weekend, the accommodation is ideally located to be far enough away from the main hustle and bustle of the event but close enough to walk to Tenby if you want to.Paul and Charlie were really supportive around an early breakfast and helping with the logistics of getting into town on event day.The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean and presented to a very high standard throughout.I would without doubt stay again and thank you to Paul and Charlie for making my stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible.

I recently spent 6 nights at Ty Ffynnon with a friend. The whole B&B was immaculate throughout. The bedroom was stylish and modern, the beds really comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of local produce and so well presented. Nothing was too much trouble for Elaine who looked after us so well each morning.Charlie and Paul are just such lovely people. From carrying our luggage to recommending walks and asking about our plans, they really went above and beyond.I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. It is simply the best.

Where do I start? What an amazing B&B! Charlie and Paul (not forgetting Elaine who served us breakfast each morning) are brilliant. On arrival Paul helped us with our luggage and showed us to the most delightful room, which was very spacious andnspotlessly clean.The views over the golf course to the sea were stunning. Breakfast time was great, you had to choose a slot but this is so they could spend time with you to ask about how you'd slept and to make suggestions for your day. They even lent us books with fabulous walks in which was really helpful. The food was amazing and they even went out of their way to adapt a breakfast for us. If we ever visit Tenby again we will definitely be going back to this wonderful B&B and we will be recommending them to everyone.

What a lovely splendid B & B. I picked this one after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a gem of a place. Clean lines, simple but striking decor. Lovely bedroom with lots of lovely little touches. Tea & Coffee tray with gorgeous Welsh shortbread and very nice coffee.Spacious shower bathroom with all toiletries provided, shampoo, body wash, hand wash, hand cream etc. Fluffy white towels.Amazing breakfast. My husband and I had a cooked breakfast every morning, after cereals. The breakfast was always cooked fresh and hot, even mushrooms were hot which sometimes can go cool when doing a cooked breakfast. As much toast as you wanted, tea and coffee. You only had to ask. My husband always rates a breakfast on the sausages and the quality of the sausages and especially the black pudding was delicious. Lovely touch with your names, room no. & breakfast time written on a slate on the tables.But what makes this place a GEM is the people.Charlie & Paul the owners and lovely Elaine who served us each morning. (Also I cannot forget Freddie the cat and the 2 dogs whose names escape me.)From taking our luggage up to the room and bringing us a coffee out in the garden when my husband was having a smoke. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Advice on things to see/do etc and recommendations.Andrew (or should I say David 🤣) and I thoroughly enjoyed our short 3 night stay and will definitely be back some time to see other areas that we didn’t get to explore first time around.The B & B was full while I was there with several people coming and going and I’m not surprised.I will tell all my friends about this lovely B&B.

We were made to feel extremely welcome at Ty Ffynnon, it was a very homely atmosphere, where nothing was too much trouble. Our bedroom was beautiful with the luxury of a bath and shower along with a stunning view from the bedroom window of Giltar Point, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each morning which was a generous full English and all the trimmings. Paul was a wonderful host and continued to make sure that all our needs were met, we could find no fault at all and look forward to returning and staying here again. This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at Ty Ffynnon. On our own and with our teenage granddaughter. The place is immaculate Room 7 has a double room and a twin room, which meant our granddaughter could have her own space.Charlie and Paul who, run Ty Ffynnon and Elaine, who helps with the breakfasts are just lovely. We stayed at Ty Ffynnon for 3 nights of our UK trip and we enjoyed every minute there. Due to chaos at the airports throughout Europe we were travelling without our luggage, and Charlie really helped us out. The whole team (including the two georgious dogs) was incredibly friendly and made us feel home at their place.Our room was super cosy, extremely well decorated and very clean.The breakfast was delicious, you should really try the vegetarian Glamorgan sausages - they are absolutely fantastic!Thanks also to Elaine for being a brilliant breakfast host and to Paul for the useful hiking tips! Ty Ffynnon is conveniently situated for the beach walk into Tenby, or by local bus. We found it very comfortable and quiet away from the bustle of town. Paul and Charlie are most friendly and accommodating hosts who will do anything they can to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible.Ty Ffynnon is highly recommended.

Right from our arrival Charlie and Paul made our stay a very pleasant one offering advice on eateries snd places to see. Our first impressions of Ty ffynnon where amazing ! Paul and Charlie welcomed us and where very friendly and helpful throughout the whole of our stay, giving us good suggestions on things to do and places to eat. The room was very clean and decorated really nicely and fit the theme of the whole building which was lovely. Breakfast was amazing and we looked forward to it every morning. The little details really made our stay, for example the little jars the granola came in for breakfast or the hand written slate with our names on for reserving our table ( I really liked these little touches). The location is also great as it’s not far from the Beach or Tenby. We really enjoyed our stay and thank you to Paul and Charlie for making it so amazing!

Charlie and Paul were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need. Can't praise this B&B enough.From the moment we arrived on the car Park (which is behind electric gates) we were greeted with such a warm welcome by the owners Charley & Paul.When we went inside, the house is beautifully kept, exceptionally clean & comfortable, lovely location. Tenby is only a short walk down the road & along the beach.Breakfast was very organized so that your breakfast was freshly cooked for you & there was a very good choice. Elaine helps with breakfast & she is just a welcoming as Charley & Paul. We stayed for 7 nights in May/June. The place itself was clean and tastefully furnished.But amazing was breakfast. A large variety. We loved the scrambled eggs with salmon and the Welsh sausage, vegetarian style, made by Charlie.Paul and Charlie really loved looking after their guests. When my knee hurt, they gave me a special ointment.When we missed the last bus in Tenby and there was no taxi in sight, they came to give us a lift home.They were very helpful, friendlyand funny.Linda with Michael, Germany

Amazing B&B, from our arrival we were made to feel very welcome by Charlie and Paul. If a guest lounge was on your wish list, a hotel or guest house would have ticked that box.With regards to chairs in the room, while it would be nice to have them, unfortunately the room just doesn't have the space.

Stayed here for two nights over the May bank holiday, cannot recommend highly enough. Fantastic friendly hosts, immaculate room (the whole bnb was) and lovely breakfast. Can't fault a thing! I never normally leave reviews, but would be doing this play a disservice if I didn't. Perfect location, short walk to the beach and just a couple of miles from Tenby town centre. Would 100% stay here again, worth every penny.

I can honestly say this B&B is like no other, it is exceptionally clean, well decorated with a warm modern feel and the hosts are lovely people. Charlie and Paul are warm, welcoming & nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a luxury kingsize room with a huge en-suite with a bath. We then moved into a family suite and again the experience was luxurious with good sized comfortable beds with complementary shampoo, body wash, tea, coffees and lovely biscuits. Every detail of the B&B was well thought out and the little quirks made it feel homely. There is a spacious car park round the back of the house so you don’t need to worry about parking. Charlie and Paul were happy to assist with luggage and made us feel welcomed the minute we arrived. Each morning we were served a good variety of breakfast such as bacon, sausage, eggs etc the breakfast had options of cereals , fruit and homemade granola. Charlie was a wonderful cook and only used the best butchers meat. We feel so lucky to have got to stay in such a airy beautiful home. 5 STARS ⭐️

We stayed in this lovely B&B during the Easter Holiday. Charlie and Paul were really welcoming and helpful - going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.The B&B is super clean and modern, yet homely. Our room has been cleaned daily, as well as the tea and coffee have been topped up daily (my partner especially enjoyed the local biscuits).Breakfast was amazing - tasty, well presented and always plentiful.The B&B is located 5 minutes from Tenby by car or a 30-40 min walk by the beach. Thus was great to build our appetite before dinner.Charlie and Paul always asked about our plans for the day and gave us plenty of recommendations. Really friendly and welcoming hosts.Upon our next South Wales trip, we will definitely be returning to Tŷ Ffynnon (tea fun-on).

In the bedroom, it would be nice if the damp towels were tumble dried ready for the next day. The hospitality tray in the room was adequate but again a better selection of teas/chocolate would be appreciated. An offer of fresh milk on arrival and each day would be great.

You didn\'t mention that you would have preferred fresh milk in your room,had you asked we would have told you to help yourself from the fridge in the Breakfast Room. There are heated towel rails in all of ourbathrooms, all you had to do was switch it on and your towels would have been warm and dry. Complaining in a review, as opposed to telling us at the time, is like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted - there\'s not a lot we can do about it after the event. Communicating with us during your stay would have been far more beneficial - we could have provided the service we strive to achieve and you would possibly have taken more enjoyment from your stay.

I have stayed here twice in three months because the first time was so good! The accommodation is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and went over and above in lots of little ways.We’re already planning to go back in the Spring!

We had a lovely stay at this B&B in charming Penally.The owners are rightly proud of their newly configured B&B and we chose room 1 (best super king room ) which was excellent and the bathroom is huge. We loved the views with a distant view of the sea to the side and directly opposite we had the farmers field with cows. I am sure all rooms are equally nice and decorated to the same standard.Breakfast was very good with quality produce cooked by Charley and the friendly service from Elaine was great.We liked the homemade jam and marmalade and the granola. Due to Covid the staggered breakfast sittings worked well.On arrival early as we were already staying in Tenby we were so pleased we could leave the car and go and explore - directed by Charley to the beach walk which was great - over the railway line and via the golf course. We stayed in room 4bof this delightful B&B. It is spacious, tastefully decorated, well located near to Tenby and has ample secure parking. The bus stop is at the end of the driveway.But perhaps more importantly the hosts Paul and Charlie go above and beyond to make you welcome and feel at home. The breakfast choices are suitable for all tastes and there is great flexibility in what you can opt for. This B&B is truly amazing.It is immaculate and clean. Very comfortable rooms, with a large shower room. Charlie and Paul, the owners, made us feel very welcome from the start. As dis all the staff.They went over amd above to accommodate our needs, even down to providing some oils for my bad back. Paul kindly took us into town by car, for our anniversary meal. I stayed there for 2 nights with my little boy and I must say its one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at.Firstly the hosts Charlie and Paul were extremely friendly and helpful.A few days before our stay, I was given a list of best places to eat nearby, which was so handy .Parking was no problem at all and the room was spotless! Everything looked new and so clean.I am usually so fussy about hotels, but this one was flawless and my favourite now!Breakfast was freshly made and also with custom choices.I was late in letting our breakfast slot for yhe next morning and was given a slot for 8am. Since this was too early, Charlie made an exception and got us booked for 9:30, really appreciate how we were looked after.Nothing was far away, we could get to town within 10 minutes by car.Absolutely amazing place and I'd go Tenby next time just to stay here!

We chose Ty Ffynnon as it was close to our daughter’s camp site. We were not disappointed. Our hosts were very welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. Our room and en-suite were immaculate and very well equipped. Lovely range of breakfast options. Would certainly recommend it to anyone travelling to Pembrokeshire.

We had a very comfortable stay with Paul and Charlie, the large room was beautifully appointed, everything worked, especially the oh so important shower and fan, hospitality tray well used, and views of sheep and the full moon from the window - what more could you want! My husband declared breakfast to be sublime particularly the black pudding and beyond orange-yolked eggs! I do not eat a cooked breakfast but feasted on Charlie's home-made granola, fruit, creamy creamy yoghurt and local honey! Then crispy toast and good coffee to finish! Our holiday is always enhanced by animals, in this case Otto, Timmy and laid-back Freddy, and one of our favourite photos of the stay is Otto's huge head through the cat door!!! Bellissimo!!

A fantastic holiday at the Ty Ffynnon. Our room was large, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. COVID procedures put us at ease without being intrusive. We felt very safe during our stay. Charlie and Paul were great hosts and Elaine was a real asset at breakfast. The quality of the breakfast was first class and we loved the Smeg fridge with help yourself yoghurt, orange and milk. Paul was really helpful in suggesting places to eat and where to visit. We will definitely return the next time we visit Tenby.

We had such a lovely stay in Ty Ffynnon! We were a group of friends visiting for a friends wedding! We had the warmest welcome on our arrival, both Charlie and Paul were soooooo friendly and chatty we felt immediately relaxed and at home.The house has been beautifully decorated throughout and the bedrooms are spacious, clean, calm and relaxing. We had some delicious breakfasts with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate one of our gluten free and vegetarian friends with some tasty alternatives. This was the nicest B&B! Charlie and Paul are so welcoming, the house is gorgeous and has been refurbished to a very high standard. It’s clear a lot of hard work has gone into making it such a lovely place to stay. The family room was great as it has two separate bedrooms, it was spotless and turned down every day.Breakfast was delicious and Elaine who helps out in the morning is a delight to speak to. Everyone made our daughter feel very special and as I had my birthday while I was there I was treated to some Bucks Fizz with my breakfast.It’s a short walk to the beach and a 40 minute walk across the beach to Tenby. There’s also a bus stop and a train station in the village so very good access.Would definitely book again next time in the area.

Firstly I would like to thank Charlie; Paul and Elaine for a lovely holiday.They were all very friendly; extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.Paul even took time to give us great recommendations for both places to visit as well as restaurants; even providing the details which was a lovely touch. As the places were worth visiting it definitely made our holiday more enjoyable.The accommodation is Well situated and it is easy to travel to various places around. We were very impressed with the cleanliness off the b&b it was spotless and had good COVID procedures. We found the breakfast to be well organised and catered for your taste which was a lovely addition to be able to each have the eggs cooked to our preference. The sausages and bacon were delicious and we loved the little individual tubs/bottles used for cereal and milk.We would defiantly stay again if we were in the area and would happily recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in South Wales.

We stayed at Ty Ffynnon for two nights as part of a trip to Wales. We can honestly say that this is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Our room was superb and really clean, The owners were really friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants etc and made us feel very welcome. We loved everything about our stay, including the fantastic breakfast and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the south-west Pembrokeshire area. Tenby is only a couple of minutes away by car and Penally makes a great alternative to staying in the town itself. All in all, we loved our stay and will definitely stay at Ty Ffynnon again.

Superb! My wife, myself and our grandson spent three memorable nights in one of Ty Ffynnon s family suites. The stay exceeded all our expectations and we all agreed that this was probably the best b and b we have stayed in. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and decorated to a very high standard. Breakfasts were delicious and my grandson thought Charlie s scrambled eggs were the best he had ever tasted. Our hosts, Charlie and Paul, were exceptional. Paul and Charlie are exceptional hosts - extremely friendly and go out of their way at every opportunity to make your trip as fun as possible.Prior to arriving, they reached out to provide us with restaurant recommendations with plenty of notice, which was a really nice gesture considering the difficulty in getting walk in tables as a result of COVID.During the stay, they provided excellent breakfasts, spacious and well cleaned rooms and fantastic recommendations for activities in the local area.We noted that one of us was playing golf during our stay and Paul was lovely enough to even gift some golf balls - we thought this was a lovely gesture and a great metaphor for the manner in which they host, nothing was too much bother and they are incredibly generous.Thank you both so much, we had a lovely time!

My husband and i spent a few days at Charlie and Paul's B&B. It was a very peaceful and comfortable stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean and smell very nice.They accommodate dietary requirements for breakfast which isvery tasty and satisfying. Charlie and Paul send a list of local resturants which is very helpful as many resturants were fully booked if you just turned up for dinner.The B&B is in an ideal location for coastal walks and walks along the beach. My wife and I went to Tenby for her birthday getaway so I was browsing online at places to stay and I read the good reviews about Ty Ffynnon. It really stood out among the rest so I decided to book our 2 nights stay with them. A few days after my booking I received an email greeting from Charlie and Paul along with suggestions of nice places to eat which to me was really going the extra mile and I was amazed and grateful for that gesture. Check-in was supposed to be 15:30 but we arrived about 30 minutes earlier as it was raining heavily that day and they kindly let us in anyway. The room was absolutely spotless and smelled really nice. We slept brilliantly on our 2 nights stay as the bed and pillows were very comfortable for us. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Really loved our stay there and we are looking forward to visit again in the future

It was fortunate we were able to walk and cycle otherwise our waistlines would have increased further!The location was ideal for us. It was situated in a quiet village but within walking distance of lively Tenby and close to the Pembrokeshire Coastal footpath.The local buses stop right in front of the B&B and the railway station is a 5 minute walk.Our hosts, Charlie and Paul, were the most friendly accommodating people. If you are looking for a 5* stay in a B&B this is for you. Everywhere is spotless with tasteful decor throughout. Excellent location with private parking at the rear of the property and a bus stop literally outside the entrance. You can even walk across the beach to Tenby. The hosts Paul and Charlie are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay care free. Charlie’s breakfasts are extremely tasty and can totally recommend her homemade vegetarian sausages, all served by the lovely Elaine. We will 100% return as many of their guests have already to continue exploring more of the picturesque Pembrokeshire.

Just outside Tenby and near to the coastal footpath, Ty Ffynnon offers a very friendly, comfortable, b&b that we would have rebooked immediately had we known dates we had free for our next staycation.The pre-arrival advice to book restaurants in Tenby for evening meals was very sensible; walk in opportunities were non-existent as far as we could tell.But this just showed the thoughtfulness of our hosts.We felt that everything was done in a Covid secure way.All in all an excellent B&B,

I stayed at Ty Ffynon with my partner for 4 nights, and have to say it was amazing. A really warm welcome from Paul, a willingness to help however they could, the incredible breakfasts from Charlie, the whole experience was fantastic. Paul and Charlie were always willing to help when they could, recommending restaurants and helping with things to do in the local area. I am coeliac so need a gluten free breakfast, always a worry but Ty Ffynon dealt with it brilliantly and I was confident that I would be fine.Would love to stay here again!

From the get go we were greeted by the incredibly welcoming Paul and Charlie who made us feel right at home. They explained all the details that they had put in place for the COVID restrictions and we were made to feel safe.The whole B&B is immaculate, with homely features that make you feel like you can relax immediately. The bedrooms and bathrooms were incredibly clean and a delight to be in. My girlfriend also had special dietary requirements which they were more than happy to help us with and did so proactively which again made for a more relaxing stay.Being foodies we were super grateful to receive some great recommendations for nearby restaurants and guilty to say that we tried the majority of them - our favourite being the Mooring in Tenby. But what also added to this was Charlie’s breakfast in the morning! Everything was fresh, homemade and delicious!!! Shame we can’t have breakfast cooked every morning!We left Ty Fannon with big smiles on our faces after feeling truly looked after and relaxed. We have already been raving about this B&B to friends and family, it can’t come highly recommended enough. Don’t hesitate - book up, you won’t regret it!

We stayed at Ty Ffynnon for 5 nights in September. We could not have asked for more. The bedroom and bathroom were so clean, comfortable, luxurious and really lovely. This really is an excellent B&B.Comfy beds, very nicely decorated, and immaculately clean, throughout. A good shower and plenty of parking. The breakfast were fantastic, up there with the best I’ve ever had in a hotel or B&B.The hosts were lovely too, so I can’t really see how things could be improved.It’s a couple of miles outside Tenby but easily reached by a variety of footpaths including along the beach. If you don’t fancy a walk then the bus stop is outside and the train station a five minute walk. Just off the Pembrokeshire coastal path too.Highly recommended.

Where do I start? Charlie and Paul were amazing from the moment we booked (via the website) till the moment we checked out - nothing was too much trouble. So friendly and helpful ???? Lowri who served our breakfast each morning was also lovely and a fountain of useful knowledge about the local area.Breakfast was delicious and the scrambled eggs the best we've ever had. The homemade Glamorgan sausages and granola also deserve a mention - so much so, husband is going to try and recreate the sausages!We had one of the family suites which was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and really spacious. Our 10 yr old was very happy with her own room. We spent a week at Ty Fynnon, and although the weather wasn't always kind to us, having such a lovely place to stay certainly helped make our holiday! Wow! What a gem of a place. Ty Ffynnon is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in ideal location walking distance from the beach. We have recently returned from a two night stay at ty ffynnon - what a fantastic bed and breakfast. We stayed in room 7 with our teenage sons- the layout of this room is perfect for families and we were all very comfortable. The b and b is spotless and very well thought out. Christine and staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and were keen to ensure we all enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were also a real highlight - delicious. Everything about Ty Ffynnon was to a very exceptional standard.We felt very safe and relaxed about their COVID rules, I.e.their social distancing and hygiene.We accepted a takeaway breakfast bap offered on the first morning of stay but accepted their delicious breakfast for the remainder of stay.I particularly enjoyed Charlie's home made granola.I would highly recommend this place.

Such a lovely place! The couple and all members of staff were amazing, and we can’t wait to come back! The B&B was so relaxed, friendly and Clean. We loved every second of our holiday and would return in a heart beat. The owners and staff were fantastic at giving us recommendations and suggests for what to do during such a difficult time (Covid).Breakfast was INCREDIBLE! We’d drive back every morning for one of Charlie’s fry ups. These Guys are amazing at what they do and we would highly recommend them and the Lovely county of Pembrokeshire

Just got back from 4 nights stay at this B&B and already can’t wait to return. Paul and Charlie were the perfect hosts and really made our trip. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the delicious home cooked breakfasts never disappointed - I was particularly impressed with the homemade Glamorgan sausages which I had never tried before! We loved staying in Penally and thought the location was great - we enjoyed the 30/40 minute walk to Tenby south beach (which we preferred as it was a bit quieter). Would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a break away to the Tenby area. Thank you Ty Ffynnon for a fantastic trip!

We spent 1 week at this wonderful place. The room and the bathroom were large and very nicely decorated. Stayed during the Ironman wales weekend. Charlie and Paul were amazing hosts, going beyond what we would’ve expected. Firstly the rooms were clean, bright, comfortable and smelt like new. The breakfasts were delicious. On the morning of the Ironman, porridge pots, oat bars etc were available for a 4.30am breakfast! They even shuttled some of us down to Tenby and were on the course tracking the progress of the athletes staying with them and cheering them on throughout the day!

Simply wonderful stay for Ironman Wales weekend. Charlie and Paul are the most welcoming, lovely people and went out of their way from the moment we arrived to make our stay truly memorable. Can't thank them enough and recommend this lovely, cosy place with delicious breakfast to anyone coming down to the Tenby area. Brilliant!

Super room and pleasant atmosphere handy for Tenby

Spent a long weekend at the above B&B and I cannot praise it enough.....accommodation was excellent, food excellent and the welcome and interaction with the owners and staff was more than excellent. To add to our enjoyment this area of Pembrokeshire is outstanding.....would highlu recommend.

Ty Ffynnon is one of the best B&B's we have stayed at. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard so everything is fresh and new. A big bonus is that it has a very generous car park to the rear so your car is nice and safe. You receive a very warm welcome from Charlie and crew and are made to feel at home straight away. The breakfasts are very well prepared with fresh produce and the scrambled eggs, my favorite, were excellent. The property is very well situated just outside Tenby and if you enjoy walking you can walk into town all along the beach. There is also the option of bus or train, the bus stop is located just opposite Ty Ffynnon. Charlie is very good at recommending places to visit and local restaurants. Altogether a very pleasant stay I was sad to leave.

I have quite a particular Irish mother who is now 89. She said to me after the stay ‘ it was the best b&b she has ever stayed in’. The combination of very good breakfasts, warm and friendly hosts and very clean and stylish accommodation give it 10/10 from both of us.

Stayed in Ty Ffynnon on Saturday the 17th of August, it said 5 star and it was, spotlessly clean, every comfort catered for, we only stayed one night to surprise our good friends who were staying to celebrate their 44th wedding Anniversary we will definitely be going Back here but hopefully staying longer, excellent breakfast overall fantastic time.

Stayed for a weekend in August. The house is an excellent base to explore Tenby and coastal areas. Our 2-bed family room is very clean and spacious. Paul is a fantastic host. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Beautiful property,Meticulous clean, well furnished but not over the top light airy & very well thought. owners were very welcoming to the family including the children. Breakfast was cooked to perfection portions sizes were just right. As a family we visit Tenby each summer to visit friends & stayed in various places but we’ve now found a place to come back too. Had a beautifully relaxing stay at Ty Fynnon and was made to feel wonderfully welcome. Breakfast was fab and gluten free options were available to myself. Room was spotless and very comfortable and would definitely re-visit.

This is a little Gem we could not fault it and give it 10/10. Wonderful owners and staff and In a lovely quiet location . Tenby Saundersfoot and Amroth are a short drive away or walk if your feeling up to it . There is a wonderful coastal walk which I wish I could walk every day A very comfortable room with a lovely view of the countryside and a super comfortable bed (maybe firmer pillows would be good but that’s just our personal preference ) Fluffy white towels In the large adjoining bathroom which had a bath and large separate shower cubicle. Breakfast was just perfect extra toast available if required 👍

Bedroom and ensuite spacious. A very clean and tidy accommodation. Hosts helpful regarding suggestions for nearby places to eat or visit. Beach walk to Tenby worth doing, very enjoyable. We plan to visit and stay here again.

Location of property very close to town centre in Tenby. Beautifully presented guest house, very clean and décor delightful. Hosts were very helpful, making our stay comfortable and relaxed. Spacious bedroom with ensuite. Breakfast cooked by host with a great variety of local produce on offer. Parking on site, safe and secure.

Warm welcome and a very comfortable stay. Location is perfect as you can leave the car in the car park and do a variety of walks. A pub a few minutes walk away and a more up market restaurant just a little further. Plenty to see and do within 30 mins by car as well. We will be back.

Our stay at this glorious b&b could not have been more perfect. Charlie and everyone who we met were warm and inviting. They constantly went the extra mile from engaging conversation, brilliant restaurant recommendations and even a bottle of Buck’s Fizz with our delicious breakfast to celebrate our anniversary. The bed was comfy, towels fluffy and decor modern and elegant. We hated leaving and are talking about when we can return already!

Stayed for the long course weekend with my partner , and would definitely reccomend Ty Ffynnon. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, staff were very helpful and friendly . The breakfast was filling and enough choice, location was ideal for my myself and partner took us roughly 10miniutes to walk to the nearest beach which was beautiful and clean ,and a further 25 minutes to walk to Tenby town . Amazing guest house in a calm and picturesque village of Penally in about 5-7 min drive from Tenby and Tenby rail station. Very clean rooms and facilities, extremely helpful staff, nice breakfast (full English / scrambled eggs+salmon / veggie options available). We even had a sea view from our room. If you’re too lazy or tired to go to Tenby for eating out / buying some food - then a cozy local pub, fine dining restaurant and a foods & newsagent’s shop are at your service in Penally itself (10 min walk from the property). Absolutely enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend.

We decided on a short break a week earlier. Ty Ffnnon came up on our area search. We area so glad we stayed here. Charlie & Paul are a lovely couple, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast excellent. I would recommend this B & B to everyone (except it is stairs to the rooms).Excellent establishment.

From the initial booking through to our departure the whole process was fantastic. Charlie and her husband Paul deserve every success with their newly established B&B in the village of Penally.We have been visiting the area for nearly 30 years to stay with relatives but have now outgrown their house so we’re looking for a reasonably priced and comfortable alternative.The B&B has been renovated over the last year and is now very modern in design with 7 comfortable en suite bedrooms. There is ample car parking to the rear of the property. Some of the rooms have beautiful views over the headland in front of the Pembrokeshire coastline.There are some lovely little touches in the rooms which make them individual and very comfortable. We had one of the family rooms on the second floor which provided two separate bedrooms and a large bathroom.The Room had a television and kettle with a selection of hot drinks and fresh milk. The Wi-Fi was fast and free for residents.Breakfast was freshly cooked every morning with a selection of cereals, yoghurts and orange juice. All of the products are locally sourced and very tasty. You could choose from a selection of the cooked items which included a vegetarian option with Glamorgan sausage which was made from leek and cheese.Nothing was too much trouble for Charlie and Paul and we had a friendly greeting every morning from them and their assistant, Laurie. We chatted every day like old friends and discussed how our previous day had been and our plans for the day ahead. We received lots of good ideas about where to go locally.Ty Ffynnon is a breath of fresh air and a far cry from B&Bs of the past.We will definitely be returning to Ty Ffynnon on our next visit to Penally which I hope will not be too long.Good luck Charlie and Paul.

The B&B is all brand new and very well put together with some great stylish features. We had a lovely comfortable time here and the location was great as a base to explore the Pembrokeshire coast.Everyone was very welcoming and professional and breakfast was amazing with loads of options! Everything was perfect, beautiful location , high standard contemporary accommodation which was spotlessly clean. Wonderful hosts and a fantastic breakfast, Glamorgan sausages second to none.We are very much looking forward to visiting again in July.

We stayed on the Sunday of bank holiday weekend.Ty Ffynnon is new, fresh and beautifully decorated, so peaceful there.The location is perfect, just a 10 min walk and you are on South beach. There's a lovely pub minutes away and a newsagents too.Breakfast was really good, Charlie and her husband were so helpful and friendly. Absolutely faultless, the hosts are very helpful and informative. The property is super modern and outstandingly clean. Very quiet location with a nice little pub that serves meals not to far away.

Stayed at they stylish B&B last weekend.Its more boutique hotel than B&B. If you like clean, well designed spaces, this is the place to stay.Charlie and Paul are the perfect hosts and provide a delicious full english breakfast, cooked on the Aga.Very accessible place to get to and very close to the centre of Tenby.Room 2 has a sea view and a very large bathroom with a bath and separate shower.

Fabulous new B&B just outside Tenby.Beautifully decorated with stunning views from the front of the house. Very spacious rooms with comfy beds and a large bathroom.Owners Charlie and Paul made us feel very welcome.Lovely breakfast freshly cooked.Only a ten minute walk to Penally train station or a 15 minute walk to South beach which takes you directly to Tenby. Would highly recommend this B&B.

We had the pleasure of being one of the first to stay at Tÿ Ffynnon in Penally.Paul and Charlie have transformed an old B&B into a modern yet welcoming place to stay.To see the before and after photos and what they have created is amazing.We stayed in Room 1 which gave us a view of the sea and the golf course, along with an en suite the size of a bedroom!All of the rooms are decorated in a similar way catering for both couples and families.We had a lovely breakfast with some individual touches from Charlie.We received a warm Welsh welcome and will be going back in June.We have recommended to family and friends.
